Head of School

Hi! I’m Jennifer Shelton, founder and Program Director of Apostolic Kingdom Academy, and I’m so glad you’re here.

 

  When people ask how AKA began, I always smile because it wasn’t part of some big plan. It started with a handful of moms gathering in my home to study God’s Word, pray together, and ask Him to guide us as we raised and educated our children. Over the years, God took those simple prayers and grew them into something we never could have imagined. Even though our school has grown, our foundation is still the same. We begin each day in prayer, we love God’s Word, and we want everything we do to point our students to Him.

 

One of my greatest joys is watching children grow—not just academically, but in their confidence, their friendships, and most importantly, their walk with God. Every child who walks through our doors matters to us, and it is such an honor to partner with families during these important years.
